Cakes of distinction are famous for their individual wedding cakes and have been the makers of the famous Baddeley cake for the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane for the past thirty years. Particular attention is made to ensure that the theme of the wedding or the character of the bridal couple is reflected in the cake. All of the cakes regardless of size and type are made with the very best ingredients. We make traditional fruit cakes, sponge or maderia cakes and even chocolate wedding cakes! Decoration can be in royal icing or fondant and either sugar ornaments or real flowers can be used to add the finishing touches. We work closely with the bride and groom, often introducing the colour of the bride and bridesmaids dresses into the finished creation. We can also offer flower decoration at the ceremony or reception which will tie in with the design of the wedding cake.
