  • Book photographer and videographer
    TIP! Make sure you get portfolios and videos from the actual people who will be doing your photography and videography to ensure you will like their style of work.
  • Discuss menus with caterers, hotels and restaurants and gather estimates before booking
  • If you are holding your reception in a marquee remember to include tables, chairs, dance floor, stage for band, heating and lighting
  • Book your first night hotel
    TIP! When you book your first night hotel and honeymoon, ensure you tell them you're newly weds as most places offer extras if you do.
  • Book your honeymoon, taking into consideration any vaccination and visa requirements
  • Make sure your passports are valid and that you have travel insurance
    TIP! Don't forget that your passport and travel documents MUST be in the same name or you won't be going anywhere. If you want to travel using your married name, you must book the tickets and have your passport amended accordingly.
  • Think whether you need to help provide any accommodation for your guests - draw up a list of local guest houses or hotels you recommend to send out with your invitations
